From Donna- a woman on the edge

I'm planning to do this - so is Sam. Thought you might be interested or know someone that would be. I thought it'd be fun to get a group together. I can supply some accomodations at my place in Spooner. (Room for tents too if farmhouse fills up). Spooner is about 30 minutes from start of the trek on Birkie trail. Trek is 21K (15 miles?). http://birkie.com/assets/BirkieTrekinfo.pdf Registraion is $40 before 9/5 and includes food stops enroute, food at end and I think even a lovely t-shirt.
I told the backpacking crew that I'd schedule training hikes for interested folks..... (Probably William O'brien or Sunfish since terrain is similar to Birkie trail)
